# KiRa Technology

> KiRa Technology designs and manufactures the BioGS-1.0, a carbon-negative biomass micro-CHP (Combined Heat and Power) system that produces heat, electricity and biochar from waste biomass using Stirling engine technology.

## What is BioGS-1.0?

BioGS-1.0 is a residential and small-utility micro-CHP system combining pyrolytic gasification with a Stirling engine. From waste biomass (wood chips, pellets, agricultural residues), it simultaneously produces:

- Electrical energy: up to 24 kWh/day (fed to the grid or used on-site)
- Hot water: up to 140 kWh/day thermal capacity for heating and domestic use
- Biochar: a stable carbon-rich soil amendment that permanently sequesters CO2

The system is carbon-negative: the biochar removes more CO2 from the atmosphere than the process emits. Carbon sequestration: 100g per kg of biomass. CO2 reduction: 300g per kg of biomass.
